PWHS Means to Me: Page Four - H.K. Schwarz
When I joined Facebook not too long ago, I was aware there was an important amount of people around the world who use this platform to exchange info, knowledge, opinions. Wrestling is happily one of those topics. Speaking for myself, it's my favorite sports of them all, because both atlethic and entertaining factors demanded in this profession. I got the chance to watch a few old VHS tapes during the 80's, plus a few matches that were broadcasted seldom on national tv in my homeland. It was then, when I discovered there was something different about mainstream sports like soccer, baseball or Basketball, just to mention some. Years passed and I got more and more interested, back in the day wrestling video games were also a factor for my instant loyalty. Like me, probably for most of the wrestling fans who witnessed some of the glory from the golden years of wrestling, it was like "love at first sight", if we can put it that way. It was that feeling which pulled me to dig more and more into wrestling history a few years ago. It's nice to know, that there are some more people who appreciate all of the legacy throughout the years of Wrestling. In a big effort, a very enthusiastic team of historians, researchers, and even some actual wrestling legends themselves, or simply ladies and gentlemen who want to share their own experiences made the Professional Wrestling Historic Society a group where we all can talk about it, or even learn something new, like me. I thank all of you so much, those who make this group grow day by day, it's a very special feeling being a part of a community of nice guys who share the same passion for the industry throughout the years. What does PWHS mean to me? Simply a friendly agora for real wrestling friends.
